Oliver knew from the security system that Michael and Mia had arrived back at Watchtower late the previous night, long after he and Chloe had gone to bed. He also knew from his conversation with Mia that Michael wasn't doing very well.

So after he'd had a quick bite to eat, he'd told Chloe he was going to find the younger man and see if he needed anything. It didn't take him long to find Michael on the roof, staring off into the distance, his shoulders hunched.
