Her breath caught in her throat at the last part, she shook her head slowly, her eyes on him, her arm tightening around his waist, "I have seen the ugly side of fame a lot before, Oliver, I know it's not all that glamorous and I know it can be hard on the people who are under the spotlight."
Looking him in the eyes, she shook her head, "but I want you to stop saying I'm the only friend you have. I know you and Clark don't always see eye to eye, but when you're not being bullheaded," she smiled softly, "you can be good friends, and you have the guys too, they know a lot about you and I know they would be there if you needed anything, same for Lois, even in her own way, she would help if you needed help and that counts."
