He didn't know what exactly, but he'd known Tess Mercer long enough to know when something wasn't right. Despite whatever issues lay between them due to his killing Lex, and all of the crap that had happened in the past, and even with a potential apocalypse, he couldn't help but feel worried about her.
He wasn't surprised when the security team just let him in. Drawing in a breath, he headed down the hall to the study, figuring that's where she would be.
