He watched her head away and looked back at Chloe. "That's Agnes. She's worked here since this place opened fifteen years ago," he told her with a warm smile. "One of the nicest ladies I've ever met."
He didn't tell her that a few months ago, when he was out patrolling, he'd stopped a couple of muggers from robbing her just a couple blocks away. Ever since, he'd been coming here a lot more to check on her and make sure she was still doing all right.
