Oliver stood in front of the mirror on his closet door, his shirt raised as he stared at his reflection, grimacing at the reddened and stitched skin on his chest and abdomen. Sighing, he lowered his shirt once more, annoyed at himself for caring about something so superficial. Besides, today was moving day--the day Chloe was moving in for real.

Drawing in a breath, he let it out slowly, heading toward the kitchen to fix some coffee, only to find it had already been made, though he didn't see Chloe around. He poured himself a cup and downed it quickly.

"Chloe?" he called, wondering where she'd gone.
