"Smart man." He smiled a bit and took the toolbox from her. "How's he doing, anyway?" He moved over to the window, set the toolbox on the floor, then grabbed a spare blanket that was lying beside the bed. "Okay if I use this? I'll buy you a new one." He looked from it, to her, then to the window.
