Back in...Green. RP with chloeas

The feel of the green leather suit against his skin was both familiar and unsettling as he'd donned his gear a week later. It was too soon for his ribs to have completely healed, but he'd finished off his painkillers, and told Chloe he felt fine. Which was half-true. He felt better, but the pain wasn't completely gone.

She'd insisted on coming with him, and after a brief argument, he'd given in. More because he didn't want to leave her at the Watch tower alone. Now as they stood on the rooftop of a cafe a few blocks from the Daily Planet, his gaze was focused in on three guys below approaching a woman who had dropped her purse while trying to get in her car.

"Here we go." He aimed an anchor line at a shorter building and glanced at her sideways.

Chloe held her breath and nodded at him, when she was on her own, she didn't have any of the gadgets Oliver did, they made it a lot easier to get to places, to observe before trying to take someone down and that alone made things a lot safer.

She wrapped her arms around him securely and nodded at him, "lets go."

The steps were wide enough to fit both of them, she held on to his good side and helped him down slowly, her arms burning from the extra weight.

They were almost on the ground when she saw a car pulling up and Dr. Hamilton getting outside. She breathed a sigh of relief and nodded, whispering "he's here, it will be okay."

She adjusted the pillows behind her and leaned against them, nodding a little as she turned her head to look at him, "do you need more pillows? Water? Anything?"
