Forty-five minutes later found them in downtown Metropolis, wearing casual dress clothes. Oliver had removed the sling, not wanting to take any extra chances when it came to drawing the media's attention. Instead, he simply wore his brown leather jacket over his shirt, giving himself a little extra padding in case his arm got bumped.

Glancing at her sideways as they walked down the sidewalk, he smiled faintly. "So where is this place?"

"Good," he whispered, turning his head and kissing her cheek without thinking about it.

Turning her head too, she looked up at him, their faces close and she nodded, "you mean a lot to me, Oliver, don't ever think otherwise." At least, that much she could tell him.

He reached up and touched her cheek gently. "Likewise, Sidekick," he said quietly, his eyes filled with mixed emotions.

Chloe looked at him for a moment then hugged him tightly again, breaking eyes contact for a second then smiling, almost shyly, "glad we made that clear."

He smiled, as well. "Me too. And you know...I think I still have some rocky road ice cream in the freezer that needs to be finished off soon. Before it goes bad." His smile turned into a full grin.

With a quiet laugh, she pulled back enough so they could walk, but kept one arm around him, "it will be harder than I thought to go back to my apartment, I never have rocky road left..."

He arched an eyebrow. "Because Lois steals it?" he guessed.

She grinned at him and shook her head, "I wish I could blame it on her, but Lois hasn't been over in a while, I just always eat it when I have it..." Chloe admitted, embarrassed.
