Oliver had only been in the hospital for a day (and not a full one at that) and he was more than ready to get out. Despite the fact that he'd lost enough blood a transfusion had to be performed, and the fact that he was in a great deal of pain (which he wasn't about to readily admit), he just wanted to go home.

But to no avail. Dr. Hamilton informed him he'd be there at least a couple more days before he'd have his freedom back.

"I hate hospitals," he grumbled, flipping through the TV channels once more.

"I'm sure." She told him quietly, brushing her thumb over his cheek, "I love you, Ollie. And I want to spend as much time with you as possible. So maybe we haven't been dating for a long time, but we've known each other for years and... it's what I want. As long as it's what you want too."

He relaxed, his smile warm. "It's definitely what I want. And I love you too. More than I ever thought I'd love anyone." He touched her face.

She leaned into his touch and smiled, watching him. "Me too..." she said quietly, "I guess we were lucky we found each other."

"Incredibly lucky," he whispered.

Chloe leaned down and kissed him once more before pulling back, "now you need to get better so you can help me move." She said with a smile.

A short chuckle escaped him at that. "I vote we just let Clark and Bart speed everything from your place to mine while we spend the day in bed."

She made a face and shook her head, "having those two around is the last thing I want if we're in bed."

"Who said we'd be in bed at the apartment?" He arched an eyebrow at her.

Chloe raised her eyebrows a little and smiled, "and where else would that bed be?"

"I was thinking somewhere along the lines of Ireland." He gazed at her intently.

"I thought you might say that," she brushed her thumb over his cheek and nodded, "as soon as Dr. Hamilton say you can go, we'll go. We've waited too long." She paused and shrugged, "besides, in Ireland, you won't feel restless because you can't resume your nightly duties."

A smile tugged at his lips. "I hope you're referring to my nightly duties that involve wearing green leather and not the other kind."

At that, she grinned softly, "definitely not the other kind. No point in spending the whole day in bed and not being able to do that..."

"I really agree." He winked at her, then reached out and took her hand. "So we leave as soon as I'm sprung from this place?" he asked hopefully.

Chloe raised her eyebrows, linking her fingers with his, "no, as soon as you are well enough to travel and to walk around and do everything we want to do. I don't want those stitches bursting."

He sighed softly and looked down at their fingers. "All right."

She leaned down and kissed his cheek softly, "maybe in a couple of weeks."
