Reaching Out. With chloeas.

Oliver glanced at Chloe sideways as he sat behind the wheel of his little orange sports car as he drove them to the airport. The jet was leaving in a half-hour for Snowmass, Colorado. He was anxious to get out of Kansas, and not just because he was feeling restless, but because he truly thought it would do Chloe some good to get out of there for awhile, as well.

"Wanna listen to Christmas music?" he asked, reaching toward the radio.

Chloe smirked and cocked her head, "what is this laying around you speak of?"

He smirked. "I know. It's a novel concept for you," he teased.

Narrowing her eyes at him, she gave him a look, "for me? Look who is talking."

He gave her an innocent look. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

She unbuckled her seat belt once they reached the plane that she recognized as his and nodded, "I'll remember that when you insist on me taking a break." She teased.

He grinned brightly. "Well, you have to admit, I take breaks far more than you do," he said as he climbed out of the car and moved to the back to get their luggage.

Chloe walked to the back too and helped him with the bags, "because your job is far more physically exhausting than mine."

"Physically," he agreed with a nod, winking at her as he hefted his bag onto his shoulder and grabbed her suitcase, letting her grab their laptop bags.

With a shake of her head, she followed him towards the plane, "it makes a big difference."
