Reaching Out. With chloeas.

Oliver glanced at Chloe sideways as he sat behind the wheel of his little orange sports car as he drove them to the airport. The jet was leaving in a half-hour for Snowmass, Colorado. He was anxious to get out of Kansas, and not just because he was feeling restless, but because he truly thought it would do Chloe some good to get out of there for awhile, as well.

"Wanna listen to Christmas music?" he asked, reaching toward the radio.

"Everything," she answered simply. She knew why he was taking her away and she knew he had been worried about her, the looks he kept giving her were enough to let her know, but she didn't want to talk about it, not yet, so she just thanked him and smiled softly before turning to look out the window again.

Oliver kept his arm around her shoulders and leaned his head against hers in response. If she wasn't ready to talk about it, he wasn't going to try and force her. He just hoped one day soon she'd open up and let him help her the way she'd done for him.
