Oliver stood outside the theater on the square, leaning back against the brick building casually and looking up at the sky. His mind was working over the details of the case in Gotham that Bruce had been trying to figure out, but he was just as stumped as his friend was. He frowned a little as a drop of rain hit his face and he sighed a little as it was followed by another.

He looked out to the street and smiled a bit as he saw Chloe's car pull into a parking place. He pushed himself away from the building and headed toward her as she climbed out of the vehicle.

He smiled. "If you think it does, then it does," he told her with a wink, taking a sip of his milkshake.

She sipped on the milkshake and nodded, "pretty good. Not a bad start." Chloe shifted on her seat then leaned forward again, "your turn, what do you do for fun, Oliver?"

A grin tugged at his lips once more as he also leaned forward. "Well, in addition to theater and fine dining, I do enjoy traveling on occasion. I also like yoga, movies, and reading."

She watched him and smiled, it was easy to forget he was who he was, asking for interviews or fishing for information didn't even cross her mind when they were talking, it was nice, "yoga? Really? I didn't see that coming. Any other sports?" Because the man had a perfect body, she had seen pictures and that wasn't photoshop and she didn't think yoga would be able to sculpt someone like that.

The word archery was on the tip of his tongue, but he didn't dare say it. "Honestly? I'm not that big into sports," he confessed with a shrug. "Yoga's more of a relaxation practice than anything."

Making a face, she shook her head, "me neither, Lois dragged me to spinning classes whenever she could, but exercising is just not my thing." Not the gym kind of exercising anyway, of course she wouldn't say that when the guy had been completely appropriate all along.

He chuckled a little at the face she made. "Well, I work-out, but as far as actual sports go..." He shook his head. "I don't know the first thing about football or baseball."

"Really?" Cocking her head a little, she shrugged, "I didn't have much of a choice growing up but to learn about football, whenever the Bulldogs or the Sharks were playing, the tv was on."

She smiled softly and turned her attention towards her milkshake for a second then cleared her throat, "but anyway, as far as sports go, I stay as far away from them as possible unless all I'm doing is watching it while eating hot dogs or nachos."

He nodded slightly, listening intently as she spoke. "Speaking of growing up--I know you have your cousin Lois, but do you have any siblings?" he asked curiously, wondering if an older brother had made her watch football.

With another sip, she shook her head, "no, I'm an only child too," she added, knowing that he didn't have sibling, "but Lois and I pretty much grew up together so, it's kind of like having a sister." Family really wasn't her favorite choice of subject, but she knew his family history was as messed up as her own, if not worse.

Oliver smiled a little. "So did Lois make you watch football?" he asked curiously.

And that was the exact question she had been trying to avoid. With a shrug, she nodded, "partially, between her and my dad, I didn't have much of a choice."

And a change of subject, even if it was blunt, was necessary, "so you said you liked traveling, what kind of places do you usually go to?"

He paused, taking note of her quick change of subject, but not making any comment about it.

"Well, mostly I travel for work, but I do like the mountains when I get to go for fun," he told her with a soft smile.

She smiled softly at him and nodded once, she knew he had realized her desperate attempt at changing the subject and she was glad and grateful that he had let it go as easily as he had, she probably wouldn't have in most cases.

"Mountains? Really? You like cold weather, then?"

"Well, considering we don't get much snow in Star City..." He smiled and shrugged a little. "It's a nice change once in awhile, yeah. Although skiing comes into play in the mountains, as well."
